Artfest prize draw rules

  1. Key Terms

    • "Prize Draw": Free to enter Prize Draw for a Bonus Piece during Artfest in Category 1 as defined under "Earning Bonus Piece"
    • "Artfest page": https://artfest.worldofwomen.art/
    • "Bonus Piece": Art piece that will be curated by an additional artist selected for this task outside of the group of artists that have been selected to contribute their work to this edition of Artfest.
    • "Earning Bonus Piece": There are three (3) ways during Artfest to earn the Bonus Piece. These three ways are:
      Category 1: Luck of the draw by participating in the Prize Draw
      Category 2: Collect all official 8 artfest pieces
      Category 3: Become a top 10 collector on the Artfest leaderboard
    • "Total Number of Winners":
      Category 1: 10 winners
      Category 2: the winners will be the 10 top collectors
      Category 3: the number of winners will depend on how many full set collectors there are at the closing of Artfest.
    • "Entry Process": Artfest can be entered by connecting your wallet on the site under the "Connect" button. Once you have connected your wallet and minted your first Artfest piece, you will automatically be entered into the Artfest free prize draw.
    • "Excluded Participant(s)": Individuals in jurisdiction where WoW's services would be deemed unlawful or individuals who are subject to sanctions
    • "Start Date": October 30th 2023
    • "End Date": November 14th 2023
    • "Artfest piece": A digital piece of Art that will be available during Artfest on the Artfest page for eligible participants to purchase and/or claim.
    • "Winner Notification Process": Each winner will be airdropped their Bonus Piece. The winners will also be announced on social media platforms such as X, and on Patio.
    • "Bonus Piece Allocation Process": The Bonus Piece will be airdropped to the winners' wallets
    • "WoW NFT": The iconic World of Women digital art collection created in July 2021

  2. Introduction

    1. WoW Studio Limited is a company registered in the United Kingdom under company number 13821148, with its registered office at 7a Abbey Business Park, Monks Walk, Farnham, Surrey, United Kingdom, GU9 8HT ("WoW").
    2. These Terms specifically concern how a Bonus Piece can be won by a participant (also referred as "you" or "your") in category 1 "Luck of the draw" as defined for "Earning Bonus Price".
    3. For category 2 "Collect all official Artfest pieces" and category 3 "Become a top ten collector on the Artfest leaderboard" as defined for "Earning Bonus Piece", Bonus Pieces will be allocated to the winners according to information provided under "Key Terms" above and on the Artfest page.
    4. By entering this Prize Draw, all participants will be deemed to have accepted these Prize Draw terms and conditions, which incorporate the Key Terms (these "Terms") in full. All entry instructions form part of these Terms.

  3. Entry into the prize draw

    1. To be eligible to buy an Artfest piece and enter the Prize Draw, participants must:
      1. be aged 18 years or older on the date on which they enter the Prize Draw;
      2. have an Internet connection;
      3. meet any additional entry requirements set out in the Entry Process;
      4. not be an Excluded Participant.
    2. To enter the Prize Draw, eligible participants must complete the Entry Process.
    3. Entry for the Prize Draw opens on the Start Date and closes on the End Date. Entries received after this time and date will not be eligible to win a Bonus Piece.
    4. A wallet can only be registered for one entry into the Prize Draw, even if the wallet would have minted several Artfest pieces on multiple occasions. Exceptionally, an entry into the Prize Draw by a wallet holding at least one WoW NFT, will be counted as three entries.
    5. A participant can only be eligible to win once in the free to enter Prize Draw. For clarification, if the participant also would be the leader of the leaderboard or have collected a full-set, a participant may only be eligible for one Bonus Piece.
    6. WoW employees will not be eligible to Earn a Bonus Price.

  4. Winners

    1. The Bonus Piece is described in the Key Terms. Any images are an illustrative example and do not show the exact Bonus Piece.
    2. The winners for the Bonus Piece in the Prize Draw will be selected at random from all eligible entries by a randomised computer programme.

  5. Notification and allocation of prizes

    1. Winners will be airdropped the Bonus Piece. The winners will also be announced on relevant social media channels.
    2. In the event that WoW is unable to airdrop the Bonus Pieces to the winner, or a winner expressly rejects their Bonus Piece, WoW reserves the right to award the Bonus Piece to an alternative winner, selected at random.
    3. Bonus Pieces will be awarded in accordance with the Prize Allocation Process.
    4. There is no substitute for the Bonus Piece.

  6. Conditions

    1. Each winner agrees to take part in reasonable publicity as may be required by WoW in respect of the Prize Draw.
    2. No entries from agents, third parties, syndicated entries or those made using methods such as a computer macro, script or the use of automated devices are permitted and no bulk entries.
    3. All costs and expenses not included within the Bonus Prices are the responsibility of the winner(s).
    4. WoW reserves the right at any time, to:
      1. verify the eligibility of any participant;
      2. disqualify any participant found to be abusing or tampering with the operation of the Prize Draw or entering using fraudulent means, or who WoW believes to have acted in breach of these Terms;
      3. disqualify participants who do not give correct contact details or those who make an entry on someone else's behalf; and
      4. disqualify any participant posting an entry or a comment to WoW's Social Media Channel in connection with the Prize Draw that is, in WoW's opinion, inappropriate, offensive or upsetting to other participants, fans of WoW or contrary to applicable law, and to remove any such entry or comment.

  7. Liability

    1. The Prize Draw is not in any way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with the Social Media Channel, or any other third party referred to in the Prize Draw and participants acknowledge that those persons shall not have any liability to participants in connection with the Prize Draw.
    2. Save as set out in clause 6.3, if WoW fails to comply with these Terms, it will be responsible for loss or damage participants suffer that is a foreseeable result of WoW's breach of these Terms. WoW is not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable.
    3. WoW shall not be liable for: (i) any failure to comply with these Terms as a consequence of events beyond its reasonable control including without limitation, any failure of communication networks as a consequence of any circumstances beyond the reasonable control of WoW; and/or (ii) any loss of profits, loss of revenue or other economic loss or any indirect or consequential loss.
    4. Except as otherwise required by applicable law, WoW accepts no responsibility or liability for any entry or claim which for technical or other reasons is unsuccessful, incomplete, lost, late, damaged, corrupted or misdirected.

  8. General

    1. Any decision of WoW in respect of the Prize Draw is final. For questions regarding the Prize Draw, contact WoW at:

    2. WoW reserves the right to extend, withdraw, alter or suspend the Prize Draw or to amend these Terms at any time if circumstances beyond its control make this unavoidable.
    3. All personal data submitted in connection with the Prize Draw will be processed by WoW for the purposes of administering and managing the Prize Draw and the award of Bonus Pieces (where applicable) and verifying the eligibility of a participant. Data that is collected from or about participants will be used in accordance with WoW's Privacy Policy, a copy of which can be found at https://www.worldofwomen.art/privacy
    4. By entering the Prize Draw each participant understands that should they be the Bonus Piece winner, WoW may reach out to them and request for their full legal name, if ordered by the UK Advertising Standard Authority to provide them with such details. Each participant shall agree to comply with such a request.
    5. The Prize Draw and these Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and participants can bring legal proceedings in respect of the Prize Draw and these Terms in the English courts or to the competent court of the participant's country of habitual residence if this country is within the UK. WoW will bring any dispute which may arise under these Terms to the competent court of the participant's country of habitual residence if this is within the UK or otherwise the English courts.
